In a time when young people seem so passive about anything but their friends, this session teaches how to choose a financial institution. It teaches the differences in the corporate structure of various financial institutions and how that can affect the products and services offered. It gives them basic information on how to cut through the daily messages and find costs, featuresand benefits that will most closely match their life style.

Car, Cell Phone, Xbox 360, I Want it All!

This session introduces young people to budgeting. It gives real life examples of how the financial choices they make today can impact their ability to reach their goals in the not so distant future. It gives them the action steps they need to take today to give them a head start toward financial success down the road. This session includes a tool kit to help them make the right decisions and guide their financial direction before they head off to college.

So, What Does "Debit" Mean Anyways?

Checking account basics, including how a debit (or check) card works and how it differs from a credit card, are among the topics covered during this session. Included in this discussion is the importance of getting into good habits such as balancing your checking account, and why NSF stands for more than "Not So Funny." Savings basics such as PYF (Pay Yourself First) and the 70-20-10 rule are also covered.

This session teaches young people about obtaining credit. The concept of a credit score will be defined, and how financials may use it to set loan rates will be explained. It stresses the importance of maintaining good credit and teaches young people how credit and budgeting blend together to impact their financial success.

This Little Piggy

This session is designed for the early elementary school student. It teaches the very basics of money including how to develop saving and spending habits. This is the first building block to start them on the right path for money management.

Getting More Than Money From Your First Job

This session talks about what is involved in getting a job, what an employer is looking for, what a job-seeker should be looking for and how they can impress their new boss in their first job.

Life Success Skills

This session will focus on how to write an effective resume as well as what skills are important when preparing for a first job interview.

Last year, 10 million were victimized to the tune of $5 billion, and it's growing each year. This presentation will focus on different aspects of identity theft as well as steps a person can take if they are a victim of identity theft. In addition, common sense tips on how to avoid becoming a victim will be provided.

In recent years, pay day loan and vehicle title stores are literally popping up on every street corner. Why? ...because they make an incredible amount of money. This seminar is designed to shed a little light on some businesses that perhaps would prefer to operate in the "shady" areas.

We want our kids to be financially independent, but how do we get them there? This session gives parents a step-by-step guide to introducing financial products to their children.
