How do I transfer a balance?
A:
Fill out a Transfer Balance Request form located at all branch offices.

How can I make my credit card payment?
A:
Kohler Credit Union has the ability to process credit payments daily. Cardholders have three choices in making a payment: sending payment through the US Postal Service, make payments online, or stop in at any branch and have the teller process the payment.

Who do I call if I cannot reach Kohler Credit Union credit card representatives?
A:
Call the credit card company at 1-800-237-6211.
Q:
How do I close out my credit card? Can I call it in?
A:
Stop in at one of the branch offices, go to a teller, and sign a closeout form, or send a signed note requesting to close the account with cut up cards.
Q:
How do I add my son or daughter to my credit card account?
A:
A signed and dated letter by the cardholder authorizing a child to be added to the account as an authorized user with no credit reporting is required.
Q:
If my credit card is in a compromising situation, how will I know?
A:
You will be notified by either a representative from Kohler Credit Union or the fraud department of our credit card processor (Fidelity National Information Services). Please contact Kohler Credit Union if you question the authenticity of the phone call. You will never be asked for your credit card number or pin.

How is my interest rate determined?
A:
Kohler Credit Union uses merit-based pricing for all credit cards. You may choose between MasterCard or Visa Platinum, as different rates are available on each. Your interest rate will be determined by your credit score upon application. It may be reevaluated biennially.
Q:
How can I get a lower interest rate?
A:
If you currently carry the Visa ScoreCard, you can elect to switch over to MasterCard Platinum, which has a lower interest rate in lieu of ScoreCard points. Interest rates may be reevaluated biennially, and your interest rate may improve by raising your credit score.
Q:
How can I redeem my ScoreCard points?
A:
For merchandise awards, you may print an order form from www.scorecardrewards.com. Simply complete the form including all information requested and mail to the address printed on the form. You may also order from the online shopping cart feature.

Travel awards, airline tickets, vacation packages, and cruises may be ordered by calling 1-800-842-3006 and booking your tickets with a ScoreCard travel counselor. Certificates for rental cars and hotels may also be ordered by using the award order form found online. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of car rental/hotel certificates.

How can I view my point balance?
A:
Bonus point information is communicated in an easy-to-read format on your ScoreCard statement or on your credit or debit card statement. You may also obtain ScoreCard bonus point information by visiting www.scorecardrewards.com or by calling 1-800-854-0790.
Q:
Can I switch between MasterCard and Visa?
A:
Yes. If you carry a balance, you may prefer to have a MasterCard, which bears the lower interest rate. If you would like reward points, the Visa ScoreCard will be a better fit. Choose the card that works best for you! Contact any Kohler Credit Union representative to change cards.

How can I apply for a larger credit limit?
