“I enjoy meeting and working with our members. Talking with members either over the phone or in person and helping them with their needs is a very satisfying job. Especially in today’s economy when so many of us are concerned about our finances and worried about the future! There’s a sense of satisfaction when I’ve helped our members in some way; either by discovering the right service to fit their needs or through finding a solution to an obstacle they were faced with.
Each situation is a unique opportunity to help somebody; when a member leaves our branch with a smile that I know I had a part in causing...that’s what it’s all about. For instance, showing members how easy and fast it is to set up their monthly bills in our online bill pay system. Hearing from a member that I’ve helped them save time, made their routine a little more convenient and that they’re glad to be a member of Kohler Credit Union makes my day!”

I like to discuss all of our members’ options. When I work with a member in need, I focus on what I can do to make their situation better. I also like to educate members on how to improve their credit score and their financial status.
Recently, I had a member call inquiring on refinancing her auto loan. In speaking with her, I found out that she and her husband had payments of nine years left on their mortgage and six years left on their auto loan—her husband wanted to retire in five years! By listening to the member and caring about her needs I was able to lower the interest rate and shorten the length of the mortgage and auto loan. By doing this, her husband can now retire debt free!”
