Coronavirus Update

The Internal Revenue Service and the Treasury Department will begin delivering a second round of Economic Impact Payments as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021.

Initial direct deposit payments have already been completed for some and will continue into next week. Paper checks will begin to be mailed January 6.

The IRS is reminding taxpayers that the payments are automatic and no action is required to receive this second payment.

With stimulus payments being deposited, we wanted to remind you of digital banking and your ability to review your accounts 24/7, transfer funds, and remotely deposit checks.

As we have navigated the impacts and fluidity of COVID over the past 8 months, changes needed to be made to branch operations in order to ensure the safety and health of our members and teammates.

We recently opened up our lobbies to full access and walk-in traffic to accommodate our members’ needs and service expectations. Although we’ve been able to manage full lobby access over the past several months, starting Wednesday, October 28, we need to temporarily revert to appointment-only lobby access due to the recent spike of COVID cases in our communities. Drive thru access will remain open and is a viable option for most transactions. Appointments for lobby access include:

  • Loan closing
  • Opening a new account/subaccount
  • Disputes
  • Safe deposit access
  • Coin
  • Notary
  • Signature guarantee
  • Business cash orders

Digital banking, whether through a browser or our mobile app, is another option for managing your finances. Transactions include:

  • Apply for a loan
  • Open an account
  • Transfer money
  • Review transactions
  • Pay bills
  • View eStatements
  • Deposit checks (through the app)
