Kohler Credit Union Opens West Bend Branch
Kohler Credit Union proudly announces the opening of its West Bend branch, located in Meijer. The opening was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 19 and a public grand opening celebration, Saturday, April 21. The branch, located at 2180 S. Main Street., is the fourteenth branch for the credit union and the first in Washington County.
Attendees of the ribbon cutting ceremony included representatives from Kohler Credit Union, the West Bend Chamber of Commerce, Financial Supermarkets, Inc., and Meijer. The grand opening celebration, which was open to the public, included a partnership with the Museum of Wisconsin Art for a complimentary children’s workshop and a drawing where three people won $100 Meijer gift cards, and one grand prize winner won a 2-minute grocery shopping spree.
“We are very excited to join the West Bend community. For 80 years, our focus has been set on meeting the needs of our members, when and where it is convenient for them. Having a branch located in Meijer, allows us to reach our current membership in Washington County, but also expand to Meijer’s loyal customer base. We look forward to planting our roots; being engaged corporate citizens; and working to become an integral part of the West Bend community,” said Tony Klockow, president of Kohler Credit Union.
Kohler Credit Union is a $360 million not-for-profit, financial cooperative, owned and governed by its members. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Sheboygan, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington or Waukesha County; as well as their immediate family members and associations or organizations.
