Kohler Credit Union Breaks Ground for New Corporate Center

KOHLER, Wis. – Kohler Credit Union recently broke ground at the construction site of their new corporate center, scheduled to open in summer of 2020. The 31,000-square-foot, two-story facility will be located at the intersection of County Roads O and Y in the Town of Sheboygan. Kohler Credit Union executives, board members and employees were on hand to celebrate the highly anticipated event.

Approximately 80 administrative employees, as well as a mortgage originator, business services representative and the KCU Investment & Retirement Services team, will be located in the new corporate center, with room to accommodate future growth. The credit union will retain their current Kohler branch location on Woodlake Road to continue to serve members for transactional purposes.

“Our corporate center will help improve communication, collaboration and productivity on the administrative side of our organization resulting in a more seamless experience for our growing membership,” said Tony Klockow, president and CEO at Kohler Credit Union. “It will also help to position KCU as an employer of choice by providing a state-of-the-art facility to help attract top talent.”

Kohler Credit Union worked with Milwaukee design-build firm La Macchia Group LLC to create the open concept, modern building that will represent the anchor to the credit union’s business operations.

Kohler Credit Union is a $425 million not-for-profit, financial cooperative, owned and governed by its members. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Sheboygan, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington or Waukesha County; as well as their immediate family members and associations or organizations.
