Rich Larson Joins Kohler Credit Union as Chief Financial Officer

KOHLER, WI – Kohler Credit Union has named Rich Larson as Chief Financial Officer.  In his role, Larson will lead the financial outlook of the credit union, including tracking cash flow and financial planning.

“I am very pleased to have returned to my roots as the CFO of a financial institution established for the sole purpose of serving its member-owners,” said Larson.

Larson brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently the CFO of both mutually-owned and publically-held financial institutions in the state of Wisconsin. Larson attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He also is a Certified Public Accountant.

Larson and his wife, Patricia, currently reside in village of Shorewood in Milwaukee County. They have been married for 35 years and have two adult children, Sarah, who lives in Washington DC and works in finance at USAID and James who lives in Milwaukee and owns and operates Enlightened Brewing Company.

Larson is currently an active volunteer high school instructor at Secure Futures (formerly Making A Difference – Wisconsin), a nonprofit dedicated to providing financial literacy and resources that empower students to make sound financial decisions. He is also involved with the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation and volunteers as a loan committee member. In his spare time, Larson enjoys traveling, cycling and playing sheepshead with family and friends.
