Kohler Credit Union Awards Four Scholarships for 2018

Kohler Credit Union believes in helping area youth achieve their dreams of going to college.  That’s why your credit union has been awarding scholarships to deserving students since 1979.  This year, 4 students were selected from over 50 applicants to receive a $2,500 award which can be renewed for up to three years, for a total value of $10,000.

Students applying for the scholarship must have definite plans to attend a 4-year college or university, full-time, in Wisconsin, and their high school record must indicate high standards in scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship and involvement in school and community activities.  Students receiving 2018 Kohler Credit Union scholarships are:

Hanna Jens Senior Picture

Hanna Jens – Hanna graduated from New Holstein High School and is the daughter of Eric and Michelle Jens. Hanna plans to attend UW-Madison majoring in biology

Lydia McDowell Senior Picture

Lydia McDowell – Lydia graduated from Sheboygan North High School and is the daughter of Paul and Anneliese McDowell. Lydia plans to attend Carroll University majoring in journalism and communications. 

Kyle Obremski Senior Picture

Kyle Obremski – Kyle graduated from Sheboygan North High School and is the son of David and Carol Obremski. Kyle plan to attend UW-Madison majoring in physics. 

Madeline Schneider Senior Picture

Madeline Schneider – Madeline graduated from Elkhart Lake – Glenbeulah High School and is the daughter of Brian and Kathleen Schmidt. Madeline plans to attend UW-Oshkosh majoring in elementary education and special education.
