FREE Community Shred & Electronics Recycling Event

Where: Grafton High School, 1950 Washington Street in Grafton

Bring all your documents requiring secure shredding and recycle your unwanted electronics all in one place!

For bulk quantities of documents, please place your items in a paper bag for easy disposal.

For electronics recycling, we have partnered with Redemption Recycle for this event. Below is a list of free items as well as items that have a cost to recycle them.

NOTE: We are unable to dispose of cardboard boxes and plastic bags used to transport your items so you will need to take those with you.

COST
  • $10 per CRT
  • $20 for wood console and projection TVs
  • $10 for dehumidifier and microwave
  • $20 for all other refrigerant bearing items
  • $1/lb Alkaline batteries
  • $1 for 4ft and under light bulbs
  • $2 for over 4ft light bulbs

Please note that we CANNOT accept the following items:

Not Accepted Shred Items
  • Binders
  • Plastic bags
  • Boxes
  • Anything containing metal (staples and paperclips are acceptable)
Not Accepted Electronic Recycling
  • A/C Units
  • Large appliances
  • Paint/oils
  • Tires
  • Other hazardous materials
 
Additionally, we're accepting donations to benefit the Ozaukee County Foster Kids Program! Recommended items for donation include:
