Requirements to Apply

Details

Scholarships are awarded in annual installments of $2,500 for up to 4 years.

Student or their parents must be members of Kohler Credit Union two years prior to the beginning of the school year (defined at September 1 of current school year).

Student needs a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.25 (on a 4-point scale).

Student must have definite plans to attend a 4-year college or university full time in Wisconsin.

Student has a high school record that indicates achievement and high standards in scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship and involvement in school and community activities.

Kohler Credit Union is proud to support students pursuing higher education through the Here for Life Scholarship Program. Over the past 47 years, we’ve awarded more than $900,000 in scholarships to 95 students.
This year, six students were selected to receive $10,000 Here for Life scholarships as they continue their educational journeys.

Alina Muckerheide

Sheboygan Falls High School

Plans to attend the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus, where she will major in Accounting. Alina has completed nearly more than 150 hours of community service and has held leadership roles in FFA, including vice president during her senior year. 

Brennan Nickel

Plymouth High School

Plans to attend the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he will major in Mechanical Engineering. Brennan has held multiple leadership roles, including president and vice president of Future Business Leaders of America and vice president of the National Honor Society. A varsity soccer captain and active community volunteer, Brennan has mentored younger students and supported service initiatives throughout his community.

Dominic Thiele

Roncalli High School

Plans to attend St. Norbert College, where he will major in Exercise Science on a pre‑professional track for physical therapy. Dominic has completed over 200 hours of community service and currently serves as student body president. A multi‑sport athlete and academic leader, Dominic is actively involved in National Honor Society, student government, and local service organizations.

Sheboygan North High School

Plans to attend the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she will major in Biology with a minor in Spanish. Elyse has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to service through her involvement in Student Council, National Honor Society, Key Club, and community volunteer organizations. Elyse plans to pursue a career in medicine as a pediatrician.

Makenzie Schroeder

Sheboygan Falls High School

Plans to attend St. Norbert College, where she will major in Education. Throughout high school, Makenzie has been actively involved in both school and community activities, completing 175 volunteer hours through school events, fundraisers, and local community initiatives.

Sofia Rodriguez

Sheboygan County Christian High School

Plans to attend Marian University, where she will major in Nursing. Sofia is actively involved in her church and community, volunteering her time to support youth programs, service organizations, and athletic events for children. She was also a multi‑sport varsity athlete and team captain.
